Andrew Mills is a music educator, conductor, and composer in his 9th year of teaching. Andrew has conducted elementary, middle, high school, and collegiate choirs and instrumental ensembles in Alabama, Michigan, and the greater Boston area. While in Boston, choirs under Andrew’s direction consistently received awards, including a gold medal showcase at Boston Symphony Hall. Recent musical direction, stage direction, and conducting credits include Trouble in Tahiti, The Telephone, The Drowsy Chaperone (Billerica, MA and Sheffield, AL), Sweeney Todd, Annie, The Last 5 Years, and The Wiz Jr. Andrew currently teaches at Florence Middle School, and directs the choir at Sheffield First United Methodist Church. Andrew was a jazz soloist with the University of North Alabama Jazz band in February of 2023. Andrew also assists with the Florence Camerata, where he also sings frequently as a soloist.
